On the afternoon of February 8, Founder International Staff Meeting 2012 was held in the Concert Hall of the National Library. Nearly 1,000 leaders and employees from the company’s Beijing operations gathered together to celebrate past outstanding performance and create a common vision for a greater future. Major company heads including Zhang Xuanlong, Director of Founder Group, Fang Zhonghua, Senior Vice President of Founder Group, CEO of Founder IT and Chairman of Founder International, and Guan Xianghong, President of Founder International attended the meeting.
The meeting was divided into two sessions: keynote speech and award presentation. Chaired by Founder International Director and Vice President Zhou Daliang, the report session kicked off with a short film Memories 2011 which briefly reviewed the activities carried out by Founder International in the previous year and resonated deeply with the participants. Then, Director Zhang Xuanlong and Chairman Fang Zhonghua delivered a speech respectively, giving full recognition to the work done by Founder International over the past year and expressing their earnest expectations for 2012. Also, Director Zhang recalled with enthusiasm the early days when he brought US$500,000 to Japan to make an investment with President Guan Xianghong. Decades have passed, and now Founder International has grown into an IT industry leader with 4,000 employees and a wide range of business covering five major industries including media, medical and health service, finance, intelligent transportation as well as public security and geographical information security. Speaking of this, Zhang was filled with deep feelings.
After that, Founder International President Guan Xianghong delivered a keynote speech titled “Achieve Excellence via Deepened Integration”. Standing on one foot for more than an hour due to a foot injury, President Guan summed up the work in 2011 from the perspective of corporate operation, management and business, and articulated a promising vision for the following three years, ensuring that every staff member could develop a thorough understanding of the company’s development path. Through a pre-recorded short film 2012, Let Us Anticipate Together, Guan and other leaders in charge of five business areas - Shi Hua, Zhou Daliang, Yang Chenghong, Wu Jianying and Wang Baohua - expressed their own heartfelt wishes, which revealed their determination to win and faith in the future. What followed the short film was the liability agreement singing ceremony joined by Guan and the five principals.
The Passionate Dance, choreographed by the employees themselves, drew the curtain of the award presentation session, and the following short videos on the “Star of the Year” and “Best Team” displayed the high morale and spirits of the staff, drew gales of laughter and applause, and livened up the atmosphere of the meeting. The company leaders, including Fu Yuanfeng, Yang Chenghong, Zhou Daliang, and Shi Hua, awarded trophies and certificates to the selected teams and individuals. At the close of the annual meeting, five leaders on behalf of five business sections, including Liu Liyu, Liu Jun, Wang Baohua, Wang Shudong and Wang Shunlin, conveyed their lofty sentiments and aspirations through poems and songs.
The successful convening of the Staff Meeting 2012 set up a platform for communication between various departments and effectively promoted in-depth integration of Founder International. By means of commending outstanding teams and individuals, it showed the right development direction of corporate culture, enhanced team morale, and laid a solid foundation to improve performance and attain the goal of “building the company into a world-class software and IT service provider”.
